Service Description

A moment from your wedding, live-sketched on site and refined in studio to create a luminous heirloom you’ll treasure for life. Your love story deserves more than a snapshot. With this Studio Finish package, I’ll be present at your wedding to sketch your chosen scene live — capturing the energy, emotion, and essence of the moment as it unfolds. After your event, I’ll bring the painting back to my studio, where I take the time and care to refine it in oils. Every detail is considered: the glow of the light, the flow of fabric, the expression on your faces. The result is a luminous 16x20" painting that blends immediacy with artistry — a true heirloom, created with intention. What’s Included: ✓ Live on-site painting during your ceremony or reception in acrylic on 16x20” canvas ✓ Studio-finished with oil paint for perfect portraits ✓ Customized to include key figures, details, and ambiance, color and mood ✓ Varnished and ready to display ✓ Delivery or pickup arranged post-completion Timing & Process: I’ll arrive 2-3 hours before the selected moment to set up and begin painting in the background. I will then take photographs alongside your photographer to use as reference. I will continue the painting during your reception adding you and your guests. The painting is completed in my studio within 4–6 weeks after the event. You'll receive progress updates and final approval before delivery. Investment: A $250 non -refundable deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is due before delivery. Final balance invoice is send 4 weeks out wit final payment due two weeks before your wedding.

Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy – Andrea Fryett Studio Booking & Deposit A non-refundable deposit of $250 CAD is required to reserve your date. Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been received and you receive written confirmation from Andrea Fryett Studio. Dates are first-come, first-served and cannot be held without a deposit. Payment Schedule The remaining balance of $1,350 CAD is due no later than2 weeks before the event date. An invoice will be sent via email with payment options. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the deposit. On-Site Duration Andrea will be present at the event for approximately 5–6 hours, including setup and live painting. The final artwork is completed in studio and delivered after the event and I take as many hours as I need to make it absolutely perfect. Please ensure there is a designated space available at the venue and shelter if outdoors. Artwork Details Your painting is created on a 16×20” canvas and will include key figures, ambiance, and meaningful scene elements as discussed prior to the event. The final painting will be completed in studio within 4–6 weeks, with varnishing and finishing included. Delivery or pickup details will be arranged once the painting is complete. Reference Photography Andrea will take reference photographs during the event. Your wedding moments happen quickly so the images are used to paint from while you enjoy your evening. Andrea may ask you to repeat your chosen moment for the perfect reference image for you painting. Please designate a point of contact on-site who can help identify the couple or key guests if needed. Rescheduling & Cancellations If your event date changes, Andrea will make every effort to accommodate the new date, pending availability. Rescheduling must be requested at least 30 days in advance. The deposit is non-refundable, but may be transferred to a new date within 12 months of the original booking, subject to availability. In the rare event Andrea is unable to fulfill your booking due to illness or emergency, your deposit will be refunded in full and every effort will be made to find a suitable replacement artist or solution. Communication & Planning Clients will receive a short intake form after booking to confirm key details (venue, timing, preferred scene, etc. We will follow up with a zoom meeting prior to your wedding.
