Live Collaborative Event Painting
A luxury, participatory art experience
This is a one-of-a-kind live painting experience designed to bring people together through creativity, celebration, and shared presence.
Before the event, I work closely with the client to design a custom artwork based on a meaningful theme — something personal, symbolic, or joyful. It might reference a loved one, a shared memory, a place, a motif, or simply a visual idea that reflects the spirit of the gathering. The design is thoughtfully planned in advance to ensure the final piece is both cohesive and visually striking.
On the day of the event, I arrive early to prepare the canvas, materials, and color palette. Guests are then invited, at their own pace, to take part by adding paint to designated areas of the artwork. The structure is intentionally guided — an abstract, paint-by-number approach — so participants can relax, play, and contribute without pressure or fear of “doing it wrong.”
Throughout the event, I remain present to guide the process, maintain flow, and ensure the painting develops beautifully. At the end, I complete the final polish and refinement, transforming the collective effort into a finished, gallery-worthy artwork.
The result is a vibrant, meaningful piece created in real time — not just observed, but shared.
This experience is ideal for celebrations, memorials, weddings, corporate events, community gatherings, and private parties where connection, joy, and participation matter just as much as the final artwork.
Florals are a favourite for weddings, but the motif can be adapted to any meaningful theme.

What size options do you offer for Collaborative painting?
Here are the size options:

18x24": This size is great for a smaller venue or if you prefer a more intimate piece. It includes the full-day booking, original artwork, studio touch-ups, and shipping. Price: $900 CAD.

24x36": A slightly larger size, perfect for a more detailed representation. Price: $1200 CAD.

30x40": If you’re looking for an even bigger, more dramatic painting, this is an option I can offer with arrangements for pickup or delivery. Price: $1600 CAD.

How It Works
1. Concept & Design
Before the event, the client and I choose a meaningful motif or subject together — something personal, symbolic, or celebratory. I then design the artwork in advance, carefully planning the composition so it will translate beautifully into a collaborative experience.
2. Pre-Event Preparation
I arrive at the event with the artwork already clearly drawn onto the canvas. I bring professional materials, including large stay-wet palettes, pre-mixed paints, and a curated selection of brushes. A visual reference image is displayed to help guests understand the overall vision and feel confident contributing.
3. Guided Participation
Throughout the event, guests are invited to stop by the painting at their own pace and add paint within designated areas of the design. The structure is intentionally simple and pressure-free — an abstract, guided approach that allows anyone to participate, regardless of artistic experience.
4. Live Painting & Progress
I continue working on the painting during quieter moments of the event and alongside guests as they contribute. This ensures the artwork develops cohesively and is close to completion by the end of the evening.
5. Reveal & Professional Finish
If desired, the completed work can be revealed at the end of the event. I then take the painting back to the studio for final refinement if needed, ensuring it meets a professional, display-ready standard before delivery to the client.
6. A Lasting Record of Collaboration
Guests who take part are invited to sign an archival sheet using archival ink. This signed record is kept permanently with the artwork as a meaningful document of everyone who helped bring the piece to life.
